University Police

Calling 911 from a cell phone will connect you to the Raleigh Police Department. For the quickest emergency service on campus, ask to be referred to the NC State University Police. Or dial 911 from a landline or 919.515.3000 from a cell phone or landline to be connected directly with the NC State University Police.

Safety Escort Services

In conjunction with University Housing, the NC State University Police provides a safety escort service to protect students, faculty, and staff on campus between the hours of 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., as long as the weather is safe for operation. In the hours prior to 10 pm, the police department encourages anyone traveling on campus to walk in well-lit areas with groups of people or to use the Wolfline Bus Service.
